My brushes are made from durable coconut fibre, attached to a stainless steel wire. Coconut fibre (also known as coire) is a natural fibre extracted from between the hard internal shell of the coconut and the outer coat of the coconut. My fibres are a byproduct of the coconut harvesting process, and is considered a renewable and sustainable product since new crops of coconuts can be regrown repeatedly on the same trees.
My handles are made from FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) which is certified recycled Rubber tree's grown in a plantation and at the end of their life replanted. My packaging is plastic free.
What to use me for
Coir is water resistant and makes me ideal to use as a cleaning material. I can be paired with any detergent or cleaning agent on any given surface or location. I cut through tough grease, am naturally antibacterial and safe on non stick surfaces. I am super effective in cleaning hard surfaces like hobs and ovens, and will remove leftover residues and mould. I am also free from toxic chemicals and biodegradable.
How to take care of me
Just rinse me after each use and store in a dry place. On first few uses you may notice some loose fibres or ‘dust’ but please do not worry as these will reduce over time.
